In which I get back to last month’s goals (#7) via my photos…

Last month I challenged myself to take more time and thought when composing my photos. I took far more pictures that included me, but those weren’t always the most interesting pictures I took that day. I want to continue to think about and practice how to capture my role in our daily lives. This challenge definitely helped me shoot more purposefully and limited the number of crap shots that I needed to weed through. I used my cell phone the vast majority of the time, and I think I made a lot of progress in thinking about it as a camera, rather than just taking a quick five — or fifty — photos.

And now, an incredibly photo-heavy post of my September daily photos.
