In which I catch up on one of my monthly missions (#32) and point you the new recipes I attempted over the past two weeks.
I’ve been keeping up with attempting a new recipe each week — and blogging, though not as quickly as I’d hoped. Both of the recipes from the last two weeks have been successful.
The hubs and I had another recipe for Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry, but it was very basic and straightforward. I was looking for something a bit more complex, but couldn’t find anything on the internet that quite fit my longings. So I combine bits and pieces of recipes to get a sauce that ended up being really yummy. Definitely something we’d make again. Check out the recipe here.
I’m really proud of myself for making this recipe. I have been working hard to make healthier choices and to push myself to challenge my own preferences. Hence, I attempted fish tacos even though I’ve never liked fish. And they were pretty good — with a bit more attention to the texture of the meal, I’d totally make these again.
